Keyword Research Services – Follow My Test Of The Instacash Keyword Service
Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? I can find lots of them. I have a problem finding good ones.
I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Turns out they do and they don’t.
What you see (the data) is not what you get. At the time it was put together it will have been perfectly correct. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.
I targeted a keyword that ‘said’ it had about 5000 competing web pages. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
Pretty soon I noticed over 9000 competitors. I was shocked at this huge difference. Looked like it was going to be hard work. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.
What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A win win situation if you ask me.
Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I did a few calculations and came to the conclusion that research services, though not cheap, were value for my dollar.
There were a few to choose from but I went with Travis Sago and his Instacash service. Travis is the original bum marketer. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.
If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. If I can save two hours work each day that’s something I’ll grab with both hands. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.
My email inbox is usually full of stuff going on about how outsourcing is the way forward. I reckon there’s not much difference here. I’m simply outsourcing the job to a keyword research service.
If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I also mention earlier about thousands of articles published for one keyword. I’ll let you into that little secret on my site.
